At the onset of COVID-19, when our employees felt disconnected, I introduced a weekly “Nearpod Wednesday” ritual where staff (and community members) were encouraged to represent the company by wearing swag and sharing on social media about why they love working at Nearpod #NearpodWednesday

To increase communication and understanding internally, I’ve led leadership and communication workshops during employee onboarding as well as company all-hands meetings.

After a shift in messaging and a need to revamp Nearpod’s corporate identity across the website, I worked in tandem with our Web Dev team to highlight components of Nearpod’s culture and brand that would spark enthusiasm.

Social Media

To positively position Flocabulary as a company to work for and to celebrate the full-time staff, I implemented a weekly “Spotlight on Flocab” series on Instagram (in-feed and story). Some key focuses:
